Item Details
A very rare set of 'Picture Back' teaspoons dating from the mid 18th Century. This wonderful set are all matching and feature a fabulous 'Vase of flowers' picture back. The spoon bowls are long and slender and feature hammer marks to the edges where they have been raised from a flat sheet of silver by the silversmith. The handles are Hanoverian in design and the spoons are bottom marked. Picture back spoons are rather scarce these days.
