This is a gorgeous silver trinket box from the late Edwardian era. The body of this lovely piece is undulating in shape and stands on four fleur de lis legs, with a solid base. The lid is hinged and is set with tortoiseshell and intricate applied silver pique work in the Adams revival style. The box opens to reveal a dark green plush lined and padded interior. A wonderful piece, both decorative and usable.
