An unusual example of George V silver tableware. This charming piece is a preserve pot, shaped into the form of a bucket, with a large sweeping handle. The handle is fixed and fitted with a locator to the top, allowing the accompanying silver plated preserve spoon to be hung upright into to the pot when not in use. It is completed with the original Bristol blue glass liner, making this useful and interesting example ready to be used and enjoyed. Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. The spoon is silver plated and unmarked. Date :- Birmingham 1930. Maker :- Barker Brothers Silver Ltd.
