A handsome silver pepper grinder from the Edwardian period. This attractive piece has a fully hallmarked 'light-house' shaped body and top. The top unscrews to facilitate re-filling with peppercorns. A good example, both practical and decorative.
Hallmarks :- Fully marked, with matching part marks on all silver.
Date :- Birmingham 1904.
Maker :- John Grinsell & Sons.
Measurements
Height :- 8.5 cms. (to top of knop). Base diameter :- 4.5 cms.
Condition
Excellent, with no splits or dents. The Peugeot mechanism works very well.
