An attractive mid Victorian silver vesta case. This appealing example has a lightly engine turned body, with a tactile and rounded rectangular body. To the front is an oval cartouche, with a feint monogram engraved. There is a concealed hinge and the lid closes firmly. An interesting and rather early example and a good collector's piece.
