Item Details
An extremely rare and superb Victorian glass dump or paperweight of large proportions. This truly unusual example is spherical in shape with a flat base for stability. The green bottle glass encases white trailing thread work and it is suggested that this particular example may originate from the Nailsea glass blowing factory in Bristol, U.K.
A fantastic decorative piece and must have for any collector of green glass bottle dumps. Owing to the size and weight this example would also serve well as a doorstop.
Origin:- English, possibly Nailsea, Bristol, U.K.
